The Synod under the leadership of Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Isaac Ayo Olawuyi and Diocesan Lay President, Sir. Olatunde A. Okesola; thanked God for His mercy, peace, love and blessing for seeing the annual Synod, congratulates His Eminence Dr. Samuel Chukwuemeka Uche, on his election as the Prelate Methodist Church Nigeria; and resolved that:
