Our one day empowerment summit for all took place on the 1st of October 2014 which is also our great nation's independence day. It was  an event of empowerment for all activities in the areas of our lives be it spiritual, career, marital or otherwise for every man and woman to be spiritually uplifted and have pointers on how to live our lives in todays world. The talks featured were:

• Unlocking your hidden potential for development. Presented by Professor Taiwo Edun, OOW. Dean, Faculty of Education at Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye

• Empowerment - The platform for moving the church forward. Presented by Rev. Oluyinka Olatunbosun

Gracing the occasion with their presence were:

2. Our Lay President

3. Presbyters of the Diocese

4. Professor Taiwo Edun , OOW.

and also the dear members of the entire Diocese.
